The Department of Justice and Gibson Guitar Corp. have entered into a criminal enforcement agreement resolving a Service investigation of Lacey Act violations related to the illegal purchase and importation of woods from Madagascar and India. Read the news release.

So far, 13.4 million stamps have been purchased in the first 322 days since the stamp was launched in September 2011. Purchases have raised more than $1.4 million dollars for the conservation of international species such as tigers, elephants, great apes, rhinos, and sea turtles.
