GSA'S COMMITMENT TO WORKPLACE SUPPORT

HOW TO GET HIRED

GSA uses the Schedule A authority to move Americans with qualifying disabilities directly into positions. Schedule A hiring authority removes barriers and increases employment opportunities for those with disabilities, enabling GSA to move qualified people into positions through a non-competitive process.

2010 marks the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). GSA hopes to serve as the model for opening government, and government services, to the nearly 54 million Americans who live with disabilities.
