General Complaints

If you have a complaint, first try to resolve it directly with the store or your credit card company.

If you are unable to resolve the problem, you may want to file a complaint with the federal agency responsible for enforcing consumer credit laws at your credit card company. If you are uncertain which agency regulates your company, use this guide to regulators from the Federal Reserve Consumer Help center. To contact the appropriate regulator visit Federal Agency Contacts.

To see a sample complaint letter or e-mail message, visit the Federal Citizen Information Center's Consumer Action Website.
