The House of Representatives passed H.R. 5948, the Veterans Fiduciary Reform Act of 2012. This legislation was an omnibus bill that included Congressman Jon Runyan’s (R-NJ) bill H.R. 5881, the Access to Veterans Benefits Improvement Act.

Runyan Praises Passage of Veterans COLA Legislation

The House of Representatives passed H.R. 4114, the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Act of 2012. This legislation authored by Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) would provide an increase in the amount of disability benefits provided to veterans equal to the COLA for Social Security Benefits. The bill was passed by voice vote.

Runyan Legislation to Address VA Backlog Passes House

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed the Senate version of H.R. 1627, which l combined a number of bills that aimed to address veterans’ benefits and services. Among the bills that were included was H.R. 2349, the Veterans’ Benefits Act of 2011, sponsored by Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ).

Runyan Hosts Veterans Expo in Willingboro

On August 16th, Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) hosted a Veterans Expo at the Willingboro Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4914. The expo allowed veterans in the surrounding area the opportunity to speak with representatives from many different government agencies.
