Challenge Planning—Step 8 of 9

Training your challenge administrators will help your team to consistently review submissions and moderate comments.  

Contest administration will work differently depending on the platform, but here are some guidelines:
 
  • Administrators should look at submissions as they come in, keeping the challenge's rules top–of–mind. This will save the judges from reviewing submissions that don’t meet basic requirements.
  • Administrators should be conscientious about answering questions from the public.
  • If your challenge platform has a blog or discussion capability, have staff on–hand to respond to comments, moderate, and drive engagement.
