  • Last night I spoke in favor of an amendment to the Homeland Security Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2013 that would continue funding for the Child Exploitation Center, a program that targets and investigates those who seek to harm children.
  • On May 31, 2012, I spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives to urge the Republican leadership to bring HR 1519, the Paycheck Fairness Act, before the House of Representatives for a vote.
  • On November 16, 2011, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) recognized the recent Home Birth Consensus Summit held in Virginia. This summit brought together many different maternal health and child birth stakeholders to discuss home birth.
