		Film Forward Film Forward is a cultural exchange program designed to enhance cross-cultural understanding, collaboration, and dialogue around the globe by engaging audiences through the exhibition of film and conversation with filmmakers.

		Head Start, Child Care, and Public Libraries This partnership between IMLS and the HHS Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start and Office of Child Care encourages collaboration between early childhood programs and public libraries to help meet the educational needs of young children and their families.

		Learning Labs In support of President Obama's "Educate to Innovate" call to action, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services are working together to create 30 new youth learning labs in libraries and museums across the country.

		National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards Formerly Coming Up Taller, these awards recognize outstanding community arts and humanities programs that celebrate the creativity of America’s young people by providing them with learning opportunities and chances to contribute to their communities.

		Public Libraries and the Workforce The U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and IMLS are working together to highlight effective practices and encourage additional collaboration between the workforce investment system and public libraries.

		Salzburg Global Seminar On October 19-23, 2011, IMLS will host a seminar of the topic, Libraries and Museums in an Era of Participatory Culture, in partnership with the Salzburg Global Seminar in Austria. The seminar will convene international leaders in libraries and museums to explore and debate the changing roles and responsibilities of libraries and museums in society.

		StoryCorps Each year, select museums and libraries receive the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, the nation’s highest honor for these institutions. Beginning with the 2009 winners, personal stories demonstrating the ongoing impact of these award-winning institutions are being documented through a cooperative agreement between IMLS and StoryCorps.

		Noyce Foundation Leadership Institute Since 2007, IMLS has partnered with the Noyce Foundation and the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) to plan and implement the Noyce Leadership Institute.
