Event Date and Time:
09/19/2012 (All day)

Though the time is short we would like to suggest an opportunity to be a part of an unusual, participant driven conversation about innovation - a symposium titled Small Business and Government: Maximizing Entrepreneurship, Driving Innovation. The Office of Advocacy is sponsoring this daylong event in Seattle, Washington on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, with many well-known, cutting edge entrepreneurs and innovators.  Though most of us on this East Coast will find it difficult to attend in person, we are live- streaming the entire day.

But more importantly we have the opportunity to help shape the conversation BEFORE the event on September 19th by jumping on this website: http://n50.onetotheworld.net/commerce04 and clicking the SUPERCHAT button to start or join a thread with your own thought, new concept, question or big idea about how best to drive innovation. The moderators, speakers and panelists will be following the threads.

New England has a LOT to say about how to drive innovation. Let’s begin the conversation today, and then tune in on Wednesday the 19th where you can continue to participate via tweet, chat or with comments and questions directed to the panelists and speakers during the event.

I hope many of you can join in on Wednesday and that ALL of you will post up a question or comment right away using the superchat feature on the website.
All agenda times are Seattle time, so adjust accordingly – adding three hours for East Coast viewing.  The hashtag for this event is: #SBGSeattle.

The event is co-sponsored by the SBA’s Office of Advocacy, the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, the Seattle Center Foundation, GeekWire.com and K&L Gates.
