Statewide Family Network Program grantees provide information, referrals and support to families who have a child or adolescent with a serious mental health condition. The program also creates a mechanism for families to participate in planning and policy development at the state and local level.

“One of the most important things that we can do as a society is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up to lead a full, productive life,” said SAMHSA Administrator Hyde. “Through these grants, local organizations can provide the tools and skills that families of children with serious mental health conditions need to nurture their children.”  

The six awardees will receive up to $70,000 per year for up to three years.  The actual amount of funding is subject to the availability of funds.
