If I just completed school, may I submit my application prior to obtaining professional licensure and/or certification?
You are encouraged to submit your application to the Commissioned Corps nine months, or two semesters, before you graduate or complete required courses. New graduates will not be commissioned until they submit proof of licensure, certification, or registration. For further information, check your profession on the Careers & Benefits page.
