Requirements for students/postdocs:

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
• Must be in full-time training position (9 calendar months, or 75% effort, for physicians)
• Mentor/sponsor is required to provide training
• Pay back is required for postdoctoral support
• Limited to 3 years for post-doctoral, 5 years for predoctoral training [MD/PhD students are eligible for 6 years of support]

• Individual fellowships:
  • Predoctoral (F31) for underrepresented (definition) minority students, for students with disabilities (definition), and for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Postdoctoral Fellow (F32)
