Welcome to the visiting professor information section at Office of The Chief of the Liver Diseases Branch. Below you will find information regarding your visit at the clinical center of the NIH.
THE NIH CAMPUS:
Please allow for approximately 15 – 20 minutes to clear the security checkpoint upon entry into the main campus of the NIH. Once on campus, the building that you will be searching for is the Clinical Center (see map below). This building is also known as the Hatfield building or Building 10. Once in the Clinical Center, please contact 301-496-1211 from the reception desk to notify us of your arrival (if nobody is there to meet you at the prescribed time).
In the event that you choose to venture on your own, the Liver Diseases Branch main office is located at 9B06 in the Magnuson Building (also within Building 10).
YOUR ITINERARY:
Your itinerary for your visit to the NIH should be sent to you prior to your arrival. Specific requests should be pre-arranged so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs to make your visit both fruitful and enjoyable.
FOR PRESENTERS:
If you will be presenting during your visit with us, your presentation should be in powerpoint format. We will have a PC or Mac available for your use depending on the format that you choose. If you choose to present from your personal laptop, please make sure that it has a VGA port (or suitable adaptor with VGA compatibility).
