Type 1 Diabetes Therapeutics Program

The Type 1 Diabetes Therapeutics Program (DBL T1RX) focuses on applications studying the medical management of type 1 diabetes in youth as well as in adults. This program includes applications studying insulin regimens, as well as the use of other approved glucose-lowering medications that might be used as an adjunct to insulin.

The T1RX program includes applications studying treatment regimens to improve care and outcomes in type 1 diabetes, including interventions to prevent hypoglycemia.

This program also includes applications studying lifestyle modifications (e.g., nutritional approaches or physical activity regimens) that may be used, in addition to insulin, to achieve good glycemic control in individuals with type 1 diabetes.
