GAME 3: Splash Learns How to Swim

SCENE 1
Sounds of children in the background. Splish and Splash walk to the entrance of a swimming pool and see a sign saying “Swim Lessons 1:00″. Splash shakes his head and says “uh uh”. Splash looks worried. They walk to the edge of the pool and Splish jumps in the water and waits for Spash, who finally jumps in reluctantly. A male announcer says “Time for your swim lesson. Take a deep breath, put your mouth and nose in the water, and blow bubbles.” Splish follows the directions, but Splash won’t try it. A female announcer says “Let’s help Splash try again”, and a button appears.

After clicking on the button, the female announcer says “You can do it Spash”. Splash follows the directions and blows bubbles. The other kids cheer. The female announcer says “Great job Splash”. Let’s give him a treat.” A bone, heart, ball and fish appear.

Clicking on the bone gives it to Splash to eat; clicking on the heart results in Splish patting Splash on the head; clicking on the ball gives the ball to Splash to play with, and clicking on the fish gives the fish to Splash to play with. Then the next scene loads.

SCENE 2
Sounds of children in the background. Splish and Splash are in the pool. The male announcer says “Time to float on your back. Lay back with your tummy up, your head back, and your arms and legs straight out. Relax”. Spash tries to float but cannot. He struggles and sinks and Splish holds him. The female announcer says “Let’s help Spash try again.” A button appears.

After clicking on the button, the female announcer says “You can do it Spash”. With help from Splish at first, Splash successfully floats on his back by himself. The other kids cheer. The female announcer says “Great job Splash. You’ve learned to float on your back. Let’s give him a treat.” A bone, heart, ball and fish appear.

Clicking on the bone gives it to Splash to eat; clicking on the heart results in Splish patting Splash on the head; clicking on the ball gives the ball to Splash to play with, and clicking on the fish gives the fish to Splash to play with. Then the next scene loads.

SCENE 3
Sounds of children in the background. Splish and Splash are in the pool. The male announcer says “Let’s practice kicking. Hold on to the side of the pool. Put your legs straight out behind you and make a big splash”. But although he tries, Splash cannot kick successfully. The female announcer says “Let’s help Spash try again.” A button appears.

After clicking on the button, the female announcer says “You can do it Spash”. Splash successfully starts kicking, so successfully that a motor sound is heard. The other kids cheer. The female announcer says “Great job Splash. You’ve learned to kick. Let’s give him a treat.” A bone, heart, ball and fish appear.

Clicking on the bone gives it to Splash to eat; clicking on the heart results in Splish patting Splash on the head; clicking on the ball gives the ball to Splash to play with, and clicking on the fish gives the fish to Splash to play with. Then the next scene loads.

SCENE 4
Sounds of children in the background. Splish and Splash are in the pool. The male announcer says “Time to learn how to tread water. Move your arms back and forth side to side, and move your legs like you’re riding a bicycle”. But although he tries, with Splish holding him, Splash sinks and cannot tread water successfully. The female announcer says “Let’s help Spash try again.” A button appears.

After clicking on the button, the female announcer says “You can do it Spash”. With help from Splish at first, Splash successfully starts treading water by himself. The other kids cheer. The female announcer says “Great job Splash. You’ve learned how to tread water. Let’s give him a treat.” A bone, heart, ball and fish appear.

Clicking on the bone gives it to Splash to eat; clicking on the heart results in Splish patting Splash on the head; clicking on the ball gives the ball to Splash to play with, and clicking on the fish gives the fish to Splash to play with. Then the next scene loads.

SCENE 5
Sounds of children in the background. Splish and Splash are in the pool. The male announcer says “All right, now show me how you use your big arms to swim to the side of the pool”. Even with help from Splish who holds him, Splash cannot swim. The female announcer says “Let’s help Spash try again.” A button appears.

After clicking on the button, the female announcer says “You can do it Spash”. With help from Splish at first, Splash successfully swims to the side of the pool by himself. The other kids cheer. The female announcer says “Super job Splash. You’ve learned to swim to the side of the pool. Let’s give him a treat.” A bone, heart, ball and fish appear.

Clicking on the bone gives it to Splash to eat; clicking on the heart results in Splish patting Splash on the head; clicking on the ball gives the ball to Splash to play with, and clicking on the fish gives the fish to Splash to play with. Then game 3 ends.
