As a Commissioned Corps clinical and rehabilitation therapist officer specializing in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, or respiratory therapy, you will treat patients in a variety of clinical and geographical settings. The variety of patients and clinical pathologies you evaluate and treat will be incredibly gratifying and challenging. You can assist victims of natural and/or man-made disasters and other public health emergencies, providing them with the vital physical and mental health care they will need to recover. You will also have opportunities to educate underserved communities how to lead healthier lifestyles, conduct research, and develop national health policies.
