Voter Eligibility

It doesn't look like you're eligible to vote in the upcoming election. That doesn't mean that you can't play a role though. If you support a candidate, you can volunteer or talk with other people who are eligible to vote.

Voter Qualifications

If you do not have one of the proper forms of identification, You still have the right to vote if:

North Dakota offers early voting by mail to all voters. In some counties, voters must apply to receive a ballot. In others counties, elections are completed entirely by mail and your county auditor will send out your ballot between 40 and 50 days prior to the election. For more information on your specific county, please contact you county auditor.

If you are not voting early, mark your calendar to vote on November 6, 2012 (add to calendar). Don’t forget to bring your photo ID to vote.

Report fraud, voter intimidation or any other Election Day misconduct. Report a possible voting rights abuse to the North Dakota Secretary of State or your local election official.
