Library Mail

 

For your business.

Library Mail is a service for mailing items on loan from or mailed between academic institutions, public libraries, museums, and other qualified organizations in 2 to 8 days. Content is limited to books, sound recordings, academic theses, and certain other items. Advertising restrictions apply. Each piece must show in the address or return address the name of a school or nonprofit organization.

You can add the following options to Library Mail to…

Get delivery information.

Delivery Confirmation™ to see when it was delivered or delivery was attempted.

Signature Confirmation™ to see when it was delivered or delivery was attempted, and add security by requiring a signature.

Get proof of mailing.

Certificate of Mailing as a way of proving the date you sent it. This can only be used for Priority Mail Flat Rate® Envelopes and Small Boxes.

Get proof of delivery.

Return Receipt for Merchandise with proof that you mailed the contents to your customer and proof of delivery sent by email, fax, or postcard.

Get only authorized recipients to sign for the delivery.

Restricted Delivery to specify who is allowed to sign for the delivery.
