If you have an FHA-insured mortgage, contact the FHA Servicing/Loss Mitigation Center at (877) 622-8525 or contact our FHA Resource Center at (800) 225-5342 (press option 1). If you don't know whether you have an FHA-insured mortgage, contact your mortgage company and ask if it is an FHA-insured mortgage. They will be able to tell you what type of mortgage you have (e.g., FHA-insured, Fannie Mae, conventional, etc.).

The Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) was created in 1980 by Act No. 80-585 of the Alabama Legislature. AHFA is a public corporation and instrumentality of the State of Alabama dedicated to serving the housing needs of low- and moderate-income Alabamians. AHFA creates housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Alabamians through the affordable financing of single- and multifamily housing.

Jeanette Barnes and Levert Wedgeworth pose for a picture in Phase One of the New Rosedale Court Development. In this phase 88 of the units destroyed on April 27, will be replaced with state of the art new units. The Tuscaloosa Housing Authority leveraged over $16.5 million along with $1.5 million in HUD funding to make this $18 million first phase a reality.
NBA superstar, Dwight Howard, was one of many volunteers who came out to help the families on Allen Street rebuild after the storm. In this picture he uses a wheel barrel to help remove storm debris from the community. Dwight also helped with painting and landscaping over the course of the day.
