Description

Founded in 1987, the National Children's Cancer Society (NCCS) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide direct financial support to children with cancer and their families, for expenses related to cancer treatment. NCCS serves as a financial, emotional and educational resource for those in need at every stage of illness and recovery. Their Pediatric Oncology Program provides financial and emotional support to families who have a child with cancer. Beyond the Cure was established to help childhood cancer survivors integrate the cancer experience into their lives. This includes educating survivors on the challenges that lie ahead and most importantly, to celebrate survivorship.
