Description

The American College of Phlebology (formerly the North American Society of Phlebology) was founded in 1985. It has grown to be the largest phlebology society in the United States with over 900 members. Members come from more than 30 countries with speciality backgrounds including dermatology, surgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, and family practice as well as phlebology. The ACP is a member of the International Union of Phlebology. The mission of the ACP is to improve the standards of practice and patient care related to venous disorders. The ACP sponsors international congresses, regional symposia, fellowship grants, research awards, and publishes phlebology papers in Dermatologic Surgery.
