NSAIDs and Chronic Kidney Disease

People with chronic kidney disease should avoid taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen or naproxen), with the exception of aspirin for cardiovascular reasons. NSAIDs can damage kidneys. This video shows new research that people with chronic kidney disease are continuing to use NSAIDs at the same rate as the general population.
