Points of Light pleased to announce that the Call for Presenters (CFP) application process for the 2013 Conference is now open. Conference (including pre- and post-Conference sessions) will be held June 17 - 22 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Points of Light will provide more than 5,000 service leaders the opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired through a range of stimulating plenary sessions, workshops, dialogue, service projects and more.
We are accepting workshop proposals until 11:59 p.m., Oct. 19, for 90-minute workshops in 11 tracks. Learn more about the CFP application and 2013 tracks.
2012 Highlights and Resources
More than 5,000 leaders from the service sector came together to create new ideas for service, discuss challenges and work together to create solutions through the power of people at the 2012 National Conference on Volunteering and Service in Chicago. Building on the turning point created in Chicago, we announced that the 2013 Conference will be held in Washington, D.C.
