Promoting Libraries and Librarianship

Topics on this page:

Introduction

Library Advocacy is a special project unique to the MidContinental Region. This area is focused on providing health science librarians with the tools and education to successfully advocate for their libraries within their institutions. It works to increase awareness of the value of libraries and librarians to hospital administrators and health care professionals. In the 2011-2016 NN/LM contract, this special project area will also explore and help develop new roles for librarians.
