Mr. Charles Sepich new Southeast Network Director

Mr. Charles Sepich, FACHE, New Southeast Network Director

The Office of the Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management (DUSHOM | 10N) would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Charles Sepich, FACHE, to the role of Network Director for VISN 7, VA Southeast Network, effective September 9, 2012.

VISN 7 consists of 9 health care institutions in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. VA Southeast Network provides coverage for over 350,000 unique veterans.

Charles E. Sepich, FACHE, has served as the Director of the Richmond VA Medical Center since February 1, 2009. As the Director, Mr. Sepich oversees the 1.9 million square foot, complexity 1a facility. The medical center is a 427 bed facility that offers primary, secondary, and tertiary diagnostic and therapeutic health services in medicine, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, intermediate care, acute and sustaining spinal cord injury, skilled nursing home care, and palliative care. The medical center also serves as one of VHA’s four Polytrauma Rehabilitation Centers. Previously, Mr. Sepich served as the Director of the VA Gulf Coast Healthcare System (2006-2009), and as the Associate Director of the South Texas VA Healthcare System (2001-2006).

Mr. Sepich holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. Mr. Sepich is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves on the ACHE VA Regional Advisory Council (RAC) and is a certified VHA Mentor. Mr. Sepich was the Central Virginia Combined Federal Campaign Chairman for 2011.
