Data: Uninsured Population Dropped in 2011

The number of Americans without health insurance declined in 2011, according to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau. Overall, 48.8 million Americans were uninsured in 2011, down from 50 million in 2010.

The problem is that orders can be entered from any device connected to the hospital EHR without any way to notify staff it has been placed.
