About the Presenters
Neil Bonner works in the information technology field for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). His focus is on mobile, Rapid Applications Development, Social Media, and collaboration platforms. Neil manages a portfolio of applications that are internal and citizen-facing. In 2011 he was recognized as a “Federal 100 Award Winner” for his work with the "MyTSA" iPhone app.
Mike Pulsifer is a manager in the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Public Affairs. He is responsible for web and mobile application development for internal and external users. Mike has guided the department's mobile efforts since 2009, and wrote a mobile development handbook for DOL staff, used by employees at the program office and project manager level, all the way down to the developer level. Following a philosophy of "user experience first," he helps DOL agencies design user-friendly apps that support their mission, including the DOL Timesheet and OSHA's Heat Safety Tool (iPhone).
