The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) is supported by an Immediate Office which in turn provides support for four divisions and their sub-divisions:

Office of Disability, Aging, and Long-Term Care Policy, which has three divisions:
- Division of Disability and Aging Policy
- Division of Long-Term Care Policy
- Division of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities Policy
Office of Health Policy, which has four divisions:
- Division of Health Care Financing Policy
- Division of Public Health Services Policy
- Division of Health Care Access and Coverage Policy
- Division of Health Care Quality and Outcomes Policy
Office of Human Services Policy which has three divisions:
- Division of Economic Support for Families
- Division of Children and Youth Policy
- Division of Data, and technical Analysis
Office of Science and Data Policy, which has two divisions:
- Division of Data Policy
- Division of Science Policy
