Workforce Grant Announcement
September 28, 2010 Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius joined the Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration, Dr. Mary Wakefield to announce the latest round in grants to expand the primary care workforce. The grants, part of the Affordable Care Act’s Public Health and Prevention Fund, are designed to build the public health workforce and provide community-based prevention. Sebelius and Wakefield delivered remarks before answering questions from reporters. |
