CAMEO: Downloading MARPLOT for Macintosh

MARPLOT 3.3.3.1 is the current version for the Macintosh.  If you have an Intel-based Mac, you can run MARPLOT 4.2.2 in Windows using Boot Camp or virtualization software that allows you to run Windows on your Macintosh.

Download MARPLOT by clicking the link below. Please review the installation instructions on this page before you install MARPLOT.

Download MARPLOT for the Macintosh (2 MB, DMG)

Users with Lion OS: The MARPLOT 3.3.3.1 installer provided above will not work on a Macintosh with a Lion (10.7) operating system, because the installer is a PowerPC application.  To install MARPLOT on a computer running Lion, contact the CAMEO Suite Specialist (at orr.cameo@noaa.gov) for assistance.

Downloading Maps

Census 2000 MARPLOT Maps are available at no cost. Contact the RMP Reporting Center at (703) 227-7650 or via e-mail at RMPRC@epacdx.net, to obtain maps for your area.

INSTALLING MARPLOT

If you have a previous version of MARPLOT:

Install the new MARPLOT application in the same folder as your previous version. This replaces the old application with the new one, while maintaining all your current links and settings.


Once you have downloaded the installation program, the installation folder should open automatically. (If it doesn’t open automatically, browse to the folder and open it.) Double-click on the MARPLOT application installer icon.  Follow the directions you’ll see on your screen. 

STARTING MARPLOT

Double-click on the MARPLOT program icon inside the "MARPLOT Folder" (which is inside the Applications folder or wherever you installed it).

What's new in MARPLOT VERSION 3.3.3.1?

  • Modified code to be compatible with Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6)
  • Fixed a few minor bugs
