Sep 13 OFCCP - Maintaining Applicant Flow Data, Omaha, NE.
The Omaha District Office will present information regarding maintaining applicant flow data, both for the Internet applicant and traditional applicant definitions. The presentation will also include the maintenance of employment records in paper and electronic format as well as accessibility of online systems.
Sep 13 OLMS-Compliance Seminar, Albany, NY.
The OLMS Buffalo District Office will conduct a compliance assistance seminar for all interested union officers, staff, and other interested union officials. The seminar will include formal presentations on completing and filing LM reports and financial recordkeeping & internal controls. Participants will have the opportunity to meet individually with OLMS staff to ask questions specific to their labor organization and one-on-one compliance assistance with filing the union’s LM report. Participants should also bring a copy of thier union’s most recently filed LM report and any current drafts/works in progress.

Sep 13 Retirement Savings: Saving More for Tomorrow by Paying Less in 401(k) Fees Today Webcast, Washington, DC.

Sep 13 Women in Sustainable Careers Roundtable , Cambridge, MA.
The Department of Labor, Women's Bureau (WB) will collaborate with WEST and the Science Club for Girls to present a “Women in Sustainable Careers” Roundtable Session at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, on September 13, 2012. WB will convene the event with representatives from government, non-profit, business, and labor organizations to discuss sustainable careers for women and the Green Jobs Guide as resource. Approximately 30 people are expected to attend the event.
Sep 13 Homeless Veterans Summit, New York, NY.
The Department of Labor, Women's Bureau (WB) will participate in a Veterans Affairs NY/NJ VISN 3 Homeless Veterans Summit, 9:30a-3:30p, at the New York Harbor VA in New York, NY on September 13, 2012. WB will deliver information and address questions pertaining to the "Trauma-Informed Care for Women Veterans Experiencing Homelessness: A Guide for Service Providers" (Trauma Guide). Approximately 50 people are expected to attend the event.
