Defense Base Act (DBA) - covers most contractors working overseas for the U.S. government.

Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act (NAFIA) - covers MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) workers on U.S. military installation in CONUS and overseas.

Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA) - covers most offshore oil rig workers.

DLHWC also provides information, technical and compliance assistance, support, and informal dispute resolution services to workers, employers, and insurers.
