Federal Procurement Database Systems - Next Generation

Federal Procurement Data Service – Next Generation is the repository of all federal contracting data for contracts in excess of $25,000. With this system, you can learn the following on federal contracting opportunities:

  • What agencies have contracts with whom

  • What they bought

  • Which contractors have contracts

In addition, there are over 50 standard reports you can run, as well as specialized reports that allow you to request information using over 160 customized fields.

Registering in Federal Procurement Data Service - Next Generation

Go to the Federal Procurement Data Service – Next Generation site.

  1. Under the Registration box, click the “Register” link.

  2. Members of the public, the media, the Congress, and federal employees who wish to create reports and retrieve data should select the appropriate link when creating a user profile.

  3. Provide the information requested by FPDS-NG to create a user profile.

  4. Hit the “Save” button when complete.

  5. Close out of FPDS-NG and login again using the User ID and password you created.
