NEW! 2012 EHRA/HRS Expert Consensus Statement on Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy in Heart Failure: Implant and Follow-up Recommendations and Management
The expert consensus statement provides recommendations for the practical management of CRT patients before, during and after the implantation procedure. The statement does not discuss clinical indications for CRT therapy as these are covered by other guidelines statements. This consensus statement is particularly unique because it incorporates expert consensus from a multidisciplinary team of physicians from Europe and North America as a joint effort between the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS). The statement was endorsed by the governing bodies of the European Heart Rhythm Association of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the Heart Rhythm Society, the Heart Failure Society of America, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Heart Association, the European Association of Echocardiography of the ESC and the Heart Failure Association of the ESC.
