Abstract

The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) helps to improve the health of individuals and populations through evidencebased health promotion, disease prevention, and systems-based approaches to improving health and health care.

Publications

The ACPM publishes booklets for health professionals on various issues in preventive medicine including one on career opportunities. Serial publications: ACPM Headlines (electronic newsletter)--news in public policy and organization activities; American Journal of Preventive Medicine -- articles on prevention research, teaching, practice and policy.
