Enterprise Applications

The Office of Enterprise Applications is responsible for enterprisewide applications, excluding specific functional systems such as those for Finance or Human Resources. Current efforts are focused on the consolidation of Lotus Notes and Domino applications, which fulfill common administrative needs, such as Leave Requests or Telework Applications. As a center of expertise for Lotus Notes and Domino applications, this office also supports development of more specific systems, such as the Forecasting Opportunities for the Office of Small Business Utilization, the Directives Library, Clips and an easy to use internal survey application for the agency.

The Office of Enterprise Applications also manages servers and provides technical support and administration for a host of GSA websites, most notably gsa.gov and GSA's intranet site, InSite, as well as support for creating GSA blogs. The office provides comprehensive content management systems for the agency websites and trains distributed content creators and approvers to create and manage content. Training is given in person and through online meetings for users throughout the country.
