2010 Edition

Data Alert:  Due to retroactive effective dates of certain Affordable Care Act provisions and CMS Pricer program adjustments, a portion of 2009 Medicare inpatient and outpatient fee-for-service claims will be reprocessed. The 2009 adjusted claims are expected through December 2011 with final action reprocessing of claims anticipated for early-mid 2012. Therefore, the 2009 Medicare utilization and expenditure data that appear in the 2010 Medicare and Medicaid Statistical Supplement are subject to revision through 2012.  Revised tables will be posted as claims data are finalized.
