Description

The American Council for Drug Education is a substance abuse prevention and education agency that develops programs and materials based on the most current scientific research on drug use and its impact on society. ACDE also operates www.drughelp.org, a private, non-profit information and referral network providing information on specific drugs and treatment options, and referrals to public and private treatment programs, self-help groups, family support groups and crisis centers throughout the United States. In 1995, ACDE became an affiliate of Phoenix House Foundation, the largest, private, non-profit drug abuse service agency in the country
