High school students, college students, and science educators from elementary school, middle school, high school, and community college and from non-research intensive institutions benefit greatly from working in a research environment. The Recovery Act has enabled funding for administrative supplements to research grants to specifically provide summer research experiences for students and science educators. Currently more than 200 researchers from around the country have received funding to mentor students and educators.
