Insurance Match Program

Building Partnerships with Insurers to
Improve the Lives of Children

The federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) has partnered with the insurance industry to conduct the federal Insurance Match program that assists states in the collection of child support through matching insurance claimants (and beneficiaries) to child support obligors. Under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, OCSE conducts the match with insurers, agents or state agencies receiving claim information and provides matches to the state Child Support Enforcement (CSE) agency responsible to collect the child support from the delinquent obligors.
