Description

The Endometriosis Association is a nonprofit self-help organization dedicated to offering help and support to those affected by endometriosis, educating the public and medical community about the disease, and funding and promoting research related to endometriosis. Additional services include crisis call assistance, correspondence networks, support groups, and assistance in obtaining research subjects. The research program includes support for outside researchers, and the Association's program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. The Endometriosis Association has the largest collection of data on endometriosis in the world. All are welcome to join.

The Endometriosis Association publishes a wide range of literature on endometriosis including four books - "Endometriosis: The Complete Reference for Taking Charge of Your Health," "The Endometriosis Sourcebook," "Overcoming Endometriosis," and "Endometriosis: Libro de Consulta" - plus video and audio tapes, DVDs, brochures in numerous languages, and a Web site. Serial publications include the international newsletter for members, special occasion publications, and "TeenSource," a newsletter for teen family members.
