Diet Coke in Partnership with The Heart Truth.

Diet Coke® Supports The Heart Truth® Campaign

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the celebrated The Heart Truth campaign — a national awareness effort to educate women about heart disease. Sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), The Heart Truth has been embraced by millions of people who share the goal of better heart health for women.

Diet Coke has been an active and passionate supporter of The Heart Truth for five years. By teaming-up with its celebrity friends, retail partners and millions of fans, Diet Coke helps to support heart health educational programs.

PACKAGING

  • More than six billion packages of Diet Coke carry The Heart Truth logo. Each time people pick up a can, or place one on their desk, they are reminded to support heart health educational programs.

  • Limited-edition Diet Coke packaging also will be available throughout February, American Heart Month. The eye-catching, whimsical design depicts a stick figure painting a large, red heart.

  • On February 8, The Heart Truth supporters can "donate a tweet" to help fund heart health research and educational programs. Go to www.DietCoke.com/HeartTruth for more information on how to help.

  • Each person who re-tweets the Diet Coke Tweet (@DietCokeUS) on February 8 will trigger a $1 donation by Diet Coke to heart health research and educational programs. Diet Coke will donate up to $100,000.

  • Fans can also show their support by visiting MyCokeRewards.com to donate their My Coke Rewards® points to the cause during the month of February.

2012 RED DRESS COLLECTION FASHION SHOW

  • Diet Coke is the presenting sponsor of the 2012 Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. The Fashion Show will be held at the historic Hammerstein Ballroom on February 8.

  • Diet Coke's celebrity ambassador, Minka Kelly, will walk the runway at the highly-anticipated 2012 Red Dress Collection Fashion Show.

  • Minka will wear a dress designed by renowned fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg.

  • Diane von Furstenberg also worked with Diet Coke to create a limited-edition collection of aluminum bottles featuring iconic prints by the designer. The bottles will be sold at Diane von Furstenberg in New York and on DVF.com during the month of February. Proceeds from the bottle sales will benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH).

  • For the first time, five lucky fans had the chance to join Diet Coke at the 2012 Red Dress Collection Fashion Show and experience what The Heart Truth is all about.
    • People entered the contest by uploading pictures of themselves wearing red to Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram with the hashtag "#ShowYourHeart."

RETAIL PROMOTIONS

  • Diet Coke is activating national heart health programs with key retail and restaurant customers across the nation, including SUBWAY® Restaurants. Together with Diet Coke, SUBWAY® will donate $50,000 towards heart health education and research programs.

  • SUBWAY® fans can also help trigger an additional $50,000 for the cause. For every fan who uploads their own photo using the hashtag "#SUBWAYHeartTruth" from now until February 29, a $1 donation will be made to FNIH. SUBWAY® and Diet Coke will donate up to $50,000.
