Ultrasound Structured Attribute Reporting (UltraSTAR) was
developed at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Purpose
UltraSTAR is a standardized vocabulary for recording
sonographic outline reports.
Description
UltraSTAR contains less than 100 concepts and is focused on
pelvic ultrasound information. It is used to generate preliminary
outline reports that are then combined with other patient data
into narrative reports.
Audience
UltraSTAR is used by sonographers and radiologists.
