FAQ
DOCLINE -- Beyond Routing Map (BRM)

Question: What does Beyond Routing Map mean?

Answer:

"Beyond Routing Map" BRM indicates that the routing algorithm has exhausted all routing possibilities based upon the selections made on the "Routing Instructions" page for that specific request.

The request cannot route further and is retired.

Institutions may wish to resubmit the request selecting additional routing choices (e.g., route to Resource Libraries), or de-selecting previous choices (e.g., cells 1-5), or amending the "max cost". Please see the FAQ on resubmitting a retired unfilled request.
