    The internet is a great way for criminals to scam individuals out of their hard earned money because the internet provides anonymity. The crook can hide behind the computer screen with a sense of security and they do not care who the target is whether he/she is a recent college grad or a defenseless old lady. It's a shame that such people take advantages of others. There needs to be more awareness on this issue because a lot of this is unbeknownst to internet users.
