Welcome to the Involuntary Smoking SGR Bibliography
The Involuntary Smoking SGR Bibliography: A Searchable
Database of Article Abstracts with Charted Study Results was a
collaborative effort between the Institute for Global Tobacco Control at the
Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University, and the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention's Office on Smoking and Health. This
database includes abstracts of approximately 900 key articles regarding
involuntary smoking and disease outcomes referenced in the 2006
Surgeon General’s Report: The Health Consequences of Involuntary Exposure to
Tobacco Smoke. The information reflects the most recent findings in
the scientific literature. In addition, the database includes qualitative and
quantitative data, the latter of which are charted graphically.
