Meg Watson, MPH

Meg Watson, MPH, has been an epidemiologist in the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control's Epidemiology and Applied Research Branch since 2006. Her research focuses primarily on issues related to skin cancer and human papillomavirus (HPV) associated cancers.

Ms. Watson was hired originally as a fellow and worked under the guidance of Dr. Mona Saraiya to produce a special supplement edition of the journal Cancer, titled "Assessing the Burden of HPV-Associated Cancers in the U.S." More recently, she led the production and publication of a special supplement edition of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology examining melanoma in the United States, which will be published in 2011. In addition to these large projects, she has conducted several additional analyses and projects, primarily using cancer surveillance data.
