Gift From Within
Mission Statement
Gift From Within is a nonprofit organization dedicated to those who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), those at risk for PTSD, and those who care for traumatized individuals. Since 1993, we have been providing educational resources for survivors, caregivers, and mental health professionals. Our Founder is Dr. Frank Ochberg, a psychiatrist and mental health expert who has been a leading authority in his field since the 1960s. Dr. Ochberg is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. We have over 350 pages of resources for survivors of trauma and their families. We also have new free resources for veterans and their families.
