Welcome! SBA’s Commercial Loan Service Center in Fresno, California, has been serving our valued stakeholders since 1989 when SBA District Offices in Arizona, California, Nevada and Hawaii first envisioned the many benefits associated with centralization. These benefits include consistent decision-making, fast and efficient models of operation, and lower per-unit cost to the taxpayer. In 1994, SBA took centralized servicing of government guaranteed loans national.
Today, the Center serves lenders, big and small, national and local, sister SBA District Offices, and American small businesses by striving to achieve SBA’s statutory mission of promoting job growth and economic development. Working in partnership with the many fine SBA District Office professionals throughout the entire Western and Midwestern United States, the support, legal and finance professionals serving at the Center service a portfolio of over 190,000 government guaranteed loans valued in excess of $45.8 billion – SBA’s largest portfolio of loans. Each year, over 30,000 servicing actions are processed, hundreds of SBAExpress loans are purchased, and debenture loans are liquidated. The efforts of the team of professionals serving at the Center help ensure that SBA’s guaranteed and direct loan portfolios are financially sound with over 95% being paid as agreed and eventually being paid in full! The SBA loan portfolio and the complex commercial loan servicing that takes place every day at the Center is something every lender, borrower – indeed, every American – can be proud of.
