Implementation Plan Summary
Planned Date of Full Implementation: December 2015 for complete integration with physical access systems.		Planned Total Number of NACIs to be verified/completed for current employees and contractors by October 27, 2008: 7600 (Completed)		Next Major Milestones: Complete issuance of PIV credentials to all Employees and Contractors requiring a PIV credential - December 2012. Complete adjudication or verification of background investigations for all Employees and Contractors - Completed. Issuing PIV credentials to all new employees and contractors requiring a PIV credential as part of the boarding process - December 2012. The Agency implementation plan includes issuing the PIV credential to all permanent federal employees (no NTEs), some designated contractors and others as needed. Complete integration of PIV credentials with logical access systems - December, 2012. Complete integration of PIV credentials with physical access systems - December, 2015.
