Ties of Our Common Kindred --
-

November 18, 1999 - March 4, 2000

The second of the Bicentennial exhibitions, John Bull and Uncle Sam: Four Centuries of British-American Relations, featured more than 200 rare and original treasures from the magnificent collections of the Library of Congress and the British Library, illuminating the common history of these two nations and tracing their relationships from pre-Revolutionary times to the present day.

The online exhibition is available at www.loc.gov/exhibits/british and The Library of Congress Information Bulletin article at www.loc.gov/loc/lcib/9911/bullsam.html.

John Bull and Uncle Sam was made possible through the generous support of the Annenberg Foundation.
